Installing a tonneau cover is typically a very easy and stress-free process.  However, there is no single set of instructions on doing so – the installation methods will vary depending on which brand and model you purchase.  All tonneau covers will come with a detailed set of instructions that will clearly describe how to install your new tonneau cover.

One of the premier tonneau brands on the market, BAK makes it easy to install its tonneau covers, whether it’s the BAKFlip or RollBAK.  Take a look at this video for an example installation of a BAKFlip on a Toyota Tundra:

Touted as America’s #1 Selling Tonneau, Extang’s YouTube channel has several videos detailing the installation process, hoping to make it a breeze for you.  Take a look at this video detailing the installation of the Extang Encore, a hard-folding bed cover, on a 2009 Ford F-150:
