What is an antenna base?
An antenna base is a small device mounted on the outside of the vehicle. It is used to secure the antenna to the vehicle and provide an electrical connection to the antenna.
How do I know if my antenna base is faulty?
Symptoms of a faulty antenna base may include reduced or no reception, or the antenna may be loose. You can also visually inspect the antenna base for any signs of damage or corrosion.

Yes, a faulty antenna base can cause damage to the electrical wiring of your vehicle.
How do I replace an antenna base?
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
- Unscrew the antenna base from the vehicle using a wrench.
- Remove the old antenna base and replace it with a new one.
- Reattach the antenna base to the vehicle and reconnect the negative battery terminal.
