The purpose of a body mount is to reduce the amount of vibration and flexing that can occur between the body and frame of a vehicle. This helps to improve the overall ride quality and handling of the vehicle.

How do I know if my body mount is faulty?

You may hear clunking noises coming from the affected area, or you may notice more flex and vibration coming from the body of the vehicle. If you notice any of these symptoms, it is recommended that you inspect the body mount for any visible signs of damage or wear.

How do I replace a body mount?

  1. Disconnect the battery and raise the vehicle.
  2. Support the body of the vehicle with jack stands.
  3. Remove the old body mount and replace it with the new one.
  4. Secure the new body mount with the necessary bolts and nuts.
  5. Lower the vehicle and reconnect the battery.
