1) Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2) Remove the air intake tube.
3) Disconnect the electrical connector from the cruise control distance sensor.
4) Remove the mounting screws and remove the cruise control distance sensor.
5) Install the new cruise control distance sensor and secure with the mounting screws.
6) Reconnect the electrical connector.
7) Reinstall the air intake tube.
8) Reconnect the negative battery cable.

How often should I inspect my cruise control distance sensor?

It is recommended to inspect your cruise control distance sensor at least once a year, or whenever you replace the air filter.
