How do I replace a distributor rotor?

1) Disconnect the negative terminal of your car's battery.
2) Unscrew the distributor cap and remove it, including the rotor.
3) Install the new rotor and secure the distributor cap.
4) Reattach the negative terminal of the battery.
5) Start the engine and check for any problems.

How often should I inspect my distributor rotor?

Distributor rotors should be inspected every 10,000 miles or 6 months, whichever comes first. Make sure to replace the rotor if it shows any signs of wear or damage.
