Which set is made for my Dodge Dakota?

The Bushwacker Extend-A-Fender flare set is the only set that is custom spec'ed to the Dodge Dakota. The reason is because fender flares are not as popular on the Dakota, due to it being a smaller truck. Not many Dakota owners put larger tires on their vehicle, so the fender flare options are a little bit limited.

While the Bushwacker set is custom fit to your Dodge Dakota, it does require drilling to install. Everything you need to install - including hardware and installation instructions - are included with your package.

How do the universal flares work for the Dakota?

The universal flares are an alternative option for the Dakota, since there aren't many custom fit options.

The way it works is that the Husky universal flares ship to your door in a roll. These universal flares are a one-size-fits-all option, and must be cut down to your desired length.

It requires a custom installation, and drilling into your vehicle to get the flares installed.

These are a good option if you want some cheap flares (around $100 for a full set of 4) for your tires. The universal flares don't provide any tire height, so it's not a good option if your goal is to hide rust around the wheel wells.

What year Dakotas will these fit?

The Bushwacker Extend-A-Fender flares will fit the 2005-2010 Dodge Dakota, and it's the only custom fit option we have. This set will only fit the Quad Cab fleetside.

If you have an older Dakota, have a look at the universal fit options we have. The universal flares are a good option to give your Dakota some extra tire coverage if a custom fit set is not available.

For the 1997-2004 Dakota we do not have any custom fit flares, your only option will be one of the Husky universal flare options.

We only sell in-stock products, so if it's listed as in stock, we'll get it shipped out to you within 1 business day. Most orders ship the same day and are delivered within 2-3 business days.

We do not do special orders or backorders with our fender flares, everything that you can order is on the shelf and ready to ship. This means that you will get our Dakota flares ship to you fast - and free!

What is the warranty on the Dakota fender flares?

The Bushwacker flares are warrantied for 3 years to the original owner.
The Husky universal flares have a limited lifetime warranty.

Please check warranty details for coverage information. Typically warranties do not cover normal wear and tear, and only cover the original purchaser on the vehicle it was designed for.
