How to Find the Perfect Set of Fender Flares

Because fender flares are an extension of your truck, all fender flares are custom fit.  It doesn’t matter if you have a Dodge, Chevy, Jeep, or Toyota – your fender flares are made to match the contours of your specific model’s fender lines.  This is important as you do not want any sort of gap between the fender flares and your truck, and you want it to provide the fullest amount of protection.

The Easiest Way To Find The Perfect Set

We get a lot of questions like “what’s the flare with the most coverage for my Silverado?” or “do you have a flare with a 2″ width for a Ram?”

We made it extremely easy to find a set of fender flares for any set of parameters you have.

  1. Go to our fender flare page
  2. If you are on a desktop, on the left side select your vehicle: Make, Year then Model. If you are on mobile, click the blue button to see this filter.
  3. Our website will now show you everything in stock for your truck!
  4. You can use more filters to refine the results based on what you’re looking for. Here are some examples:
    1. Coverage: Front & Rear (most people are looking for a full set of 4 flares)
    2. Flare Style: Factory / OEM Style (most popular) or choose an alternate style

You can also see filters for flare height and tire coverage, which helps if you have a very specific requirement – perhaps to cover rust or to give coverage to large tires.

Choose Your Style

We have a helpful guide that will help you determine which style you may want.  In short, fender flares are typically available in 4 different style buckets:  OE StyleStreet StylePocket / Bolt Style or Extended Style

If you’re looking for a sleek or OE style look, or just want to hide a small amount of rust or fender damage, the OE or Street style may be what you need.

If you have large tires you need to accommodate or want a tough and rugged look, the Pocket/Bolt or Extended Styles are what you’re after.

Decide on Fender Flare Coverage

Tire Coverage

If you’re purchasing fender flares to cover rust or other damage, or to meet law requirements for tire coverage, you’ll want to pay attention to the height and tire coverage measurements we have listed for each fender flare.

The height of a fender flare is how far up the fender the flare will cover.  This is typically measured from the point at the top of the fender; as the flare curves, this measurement can vary slightly to conform with the styling and body lines.  This measurement is important for customers looking to hide rust or other body damage.

The tire coverage measurement is important for those with larger tires or may be interested in larger tires in the future.  It is a measurement of how far out your fender flares will protrude from the vehicle.  You will want enough coverage to lawfully abide by your state’s laws regarding tire coverage.
