It replaces the original air strut with a new assembly built around a custom-tuned shock absorber for controlled ride quality and consistent self-leveling performance.

Designed and assembled in the USA, this Arnott NEW line strut combines a ContiTech multi-ply air bladder, a new top mount that matches the OE design, and service-focused sealing components for a direct replacement on the BMW X5 front suspension.

Key Features

Fits 2000-2006 BMW X5, front left

Arnott part number AS-2765

New aftermarket air suspension strut for 4-corner leveling systems

Custom tuned hydraulic shock absorber for ride control

ContiTech multi-ply air bladder

New OE-style top mount

Air adjustable and air ride suspension design

Includes bearing plate, boot, spring isolators, and upper mounting isolator

Heavy-duty crimping rings and new air fitting included

New assembly designed and assembled in the USA

Detailed Description

AS-2765 is built for BMW X5 E53 models equipped with 4-corner leveling and is engineered as a direct replacement for the front left air suspension strut. The assembly uses a progressive spring rate, gas-charged hydraulic damping, and a bracket-style lower mount with stud-style upper mount to match the original suspension layout. Arnott’s NEW product line focuses on replacing worn air suspension components with new parts rather than remanufactured units, and this strut follows that approach with a fresh shock, new air bladder, and updated mounting components.

This part cross-references BMW 37116757501 and 37116761443 for the same application. AS-2765 is a practical replacement when the original BMW X5 front air strut has lost damping control, developed air leaks, or no longer maintains proper ride height.

Common Problems This Part Can Address

Front-end sag on a BMW X5 with air suspension

Air leaks from a worn bladder or aging seals

Excessive bounce, harshness, or reduced damping control

Uneven ride height in 4-corner leveling systems

Noise or instability from a deteriorated front left strut

Installation Notes and Tips

Fits 2000-2006 BMW X5, front left.
