How do I replace a suspension ball joint?

- Raise the vehicle and support it with safety stands.
- Remove the wheel and tire.
- Remove the cotter pin and castle nut.
- Separate the steering knuckle from the control arm.
- Remove the suspension ball joint from the steering knuckle.
- Install the new suspension ball joint into the steering knuckle.
- Reconnect the steering knuckle to the control arm.
- Reinstall the wheel and tire.
- Lower the vehicle from the safety stands.
