An engine mount is a series of rubber and metal pieces that connect the engine to the vehicle frame, absorbing and dampening vibration and shock.

How do I replace an engine mount?

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable and raise the vehicle up with a jack.
  2. Remove the existing engine mount and install the new one using the same mounting bolts.
  3. Tighten the bolts and reconnect the negative battery cable.
