A liftgate lift support is a part of a vehicle's body that is mounted on the inside of the liftgate, or rear door. It is designed to assist with the lifting and lowering of the liftgate.

What are the signs of a faulty liftgate lift support?

  2. The liftgate no longer lifts automatically, but has to be manually lifted.
  3. The liftgate sags down when open.
