  4. Remove the vacuum hose from the solenoid.
  5. Remove the mounting bolts to the solenoid.
  6. Install the new solenoid.
  7. Reconnect the vacuum hose.
  8. Reconnect the electrical connector.
  9. Reinstall the access panel.
  10. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
