How do I replace a wheel bearing?

  1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and set the parking brake.
  2. Raise the vehicle with a jack and secure it with jack stands.
  3. Remove the wheel and tire assembly.
  4. Remove the brake caliper and rotor.
  5. Remove the hub and axle assembly.
  6. Remove the old wheel bearing.
  7. Install the new wheel bearing.
  8. Reinstall the hub and axle assembly.
  9. Reinstall the brake caliper and rotor.
  10. Reinstall the wheel and tire assembly.
