Fender flares serve a dual purpose on a truck, SUV or Jeep. The first is vehicle protection against rusting fender wells and road debris. The second is added eye-appeal. The addition of fender flares on your vehicle gives it a more rigid, tough look while driving down the road.
Factory Direct Look
Bushwacker Cut-Out Fender Flares are designed to fit flush against the front fender of your vehicle. The design process was intentional to maintain a standard width, without taking away from their function or look. When chatting with other automotive enthusiasts, they may find it hard to believe that the fender flares on your vehicle did not come on it.
Bushwacker studies every inch of vehicles prior to designing fender flares for trucks, SUVs and Jeeps. This helps the manufacturer to construct a product that fits the models it states that it will. You can be confident in ordering cut-out fender flares for the vehicles stated, knowing that they will be a perfect fit.
Designed for Durability
Bushwacker uses an exclusive material, developed by them, to make their fender flares. ABS plastic and Dura-Flex 2000 TPO material combine to make a tough fender flare that can be beaten, battered and put to the test without failing. Even with the strong construction of the flares, they remain flexible to move with your vehicle and install with ease.
The suspension absorbs a majority of the pressure sustained by a truck as it goes over rugged terrain and less than desirable roads. The body of the vehicle takes some of the pressure as well. This can lead to stress fractures and cracks of the original fenders. Even with repeated abuse, running through deep holes and speeding over speed bumps, Bushwacker fender flares will not be compromised in performance under the pressure.
Takes Abuse from the Weather
A UV protectant is added to the material used to make Bushwacker Cut-Out Fender Flares. This prevents fading with prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Chalking often occurs on plastic materials. This is not the case with Bushwacker fender flares. No chalking or discoloration occurs on this product at all.
The material used to make these flares does not crack due to the elements. They can withstand the hottest summers and the coldest, sub-arctic winters with ease. Exposure, even when constant, to the elements will not cause these fender flares to warp, thin or deteriorate. In fact, Bushwacker’s fender flares are likely to outlive your vehicle.
When you are driving in an open space, the earth is your surface. Rocks, twigs, bones and other debris can come up from the ground as you drive over it. This can cause damage to the paint of the fender area as well as gouge the metal/fiberglass fender itself. These costly repairs can be prevented by installing Bushwacker Cut-Out Fender Flares. This added layer of protection reflects debris away from the vehicle and back to the ground where it belongs.
With the available options to complete the look of your vehicle, it can look as rugged as you wish or match as much as you wish. Recessed stainless steel bolts are included with the mounting kit. These can be installed to make the vehicle look tougher, meaner and more like it means business.
The fender flares are made in an OEM black matte finish. These can be left as is. You also have the option of painting the fender with automaker specific paint to match the rest of the exterior of the vehicle. The decision is yours; it just depends on the visual effect that you are trying to create.
Easy, No-Drilling Required Installation
As you take on the project to install fender flares on your vehicle, you are probably expecting it to be an all-day affair. The process really only takes a couple of hours from start to finish. The mounting kit includes all of the materials required to complete the installation, including a seal that helps prevent moisture from getting between the fender flares and the original fender.
A few hand tools of your own will be required. The kit also comes with a detailed instruction manual. This walks you through each step of the process so that a safe, proper installation is completed. Images accompany the instructions to help provide a visual of the steps.
Bushwacker Limited Lifetime Warranty
The limited lifetime warranty available on fender flares purchased from Bushwacker covers manufacturer and material defects. Bushwacker is not required to honor the warranty if non-typical use of the vehicle resulted in damage to the fender flares. The limited lifetime warranty is in place in lieu of any other implied warranties. The warranty applies only when the fender flares are used for their intended purpose under the normal conditions in which they were designed for.
