I purchased a 4 piece set of 2" door moldings for a 2000 Super Duty super cab (extended cab) on 23 April. The moldings arrived on 29 April. Keep in mind there was a weekend in there, so production and delivery were great. Turned out that they either sent me the wrong size for the back door or they production shop has the wrong size on file.

There is no phone number in order to speak to a representative in customer service, they only correspond via email. I spent the next 6 days going back and forth with customer service in order to try and resolve the issue, again that was no fault of my own.

They insisted that the full 4 piece set be sent back to them with a prepaid label, thank you for the prepaid label.

Although, this in no way worked out for my personal timeline. I offered to cut the rear moldings down by 5" and they were going to make an exception to have some paint sent to me. Again, thank you! I asked about the best method to cut the moldings and they were going to send instructions, again thank you!

In the end though, I did not want to send the 4 piece kit back prior to having the new rear door moldings in my possession. This is due to my travel schedule and issues that would arise from the moldings being shipped back and forth. They said, they could send out new moldings as soon as they were able to track the wrong moldings, but again this did not work for my schedule.

I asked them to make an exception to their "return and replacement" policy since this was no fault of my own and they were willing to make two other exceptions, the answer was no.

In the end, I cut the moldings myself today in order to have the proper length. I then painted the cut portion with touchup paint and they will be installed tomorrow after drying.

Great product, great color matching, but wrong part was sent and the return and replacement policy did not work in my favor when the error was not due to my own actions.

Would I use Parts Catalog again, yes. But, I would ensure that the proper measurements or parts are being sent to me prior to purchasing.

I was amazed at the quality of the molding and the exact paint match. The style was a little different then the originals but look so much better. Also between ordering and delivery it was only a few days. Will be using them in the future.

I went back and forth with the company to get a new set after o showed them these were 1.5" too long to mount where they are supposed to go. I waited over a week and continuousl emails to get an answer, which never happened. I ended up cutting them with my table saw and touching up the ends with matching paint. Other than that, they are nice and good quality.

The color matched well. The original moldings were had rounded ends. I thought the "Angle" tip would be a little more exaggerated but it did cover 98% of the original area where paint fade and adhesive stains were. I prepped the surface extensively and took my time applying the new moldings to the doors. They look great. The passenger front door did start to peel up a couple of inches on the end of the molding. I pressed it back down and so far so good. I will continue to watch it. If I had it to do over again I would have used a little adhesive promotor. I don't know what brand of adhesive strips they use. The peeled off backing didn't say 3M on it but that doesn't necessarily mean its not. 5 stars if it didn't start to peel.
