Head gasket failed in a car with 58,000 miles. FORD is well aware of the design defect in the 3.8 liter v6 and the internet is full of sites documenting horror stories about these engines.

Transmission would shift in and out of overdrive for no apparent reason. This was corrected by replacing two speed sensing switches. This is normally done when ever the transmission is worked on by FORD.

Steering wheel shimmies and the brakes grind when you apply the brakes. Replaced rotors, drums and brake pads (3) times. *ak
