In owners' words

Complaint narratives as filed with NHTSA, trimmed for length.

  • 2018 · SteeringMileage not given

Any time I am over the speed of about 55 mph, and hit any type of bump, the steering wheel starts to shake violently. I have to slow down to about 40 mph to make it stop. I almost got rearended by an 18-wheeler yesterday on the interstate.

  • 2021 · Electrical systemMileage not given

There is a known urgent recall with no remedy after 1 month to over 1 million vehicles. Crystar, Mopar, and FCA have done nothing to update owners on when repairs can be made. The website to "Request to be notified when parts become available" does not work.

  • 2008 · Electrical systemMileage not given

Headlights stopped working. The Headlights are controlled by a computer. No relay, fuse, or anything that can be fixed at a parts store. We had to wait days for a computer to show up.

How to read this page

Every figure comes from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's public complaint database, which holds every safety-related defect complaint filed by owners since 1995. We refresh it monthly and count each complaint once per component it names. Data through September 6, 2026.

NHTSA only accepts safety-related complaints. Rattles, paint, infotainment bugs and other annoyances are under-reported here, so this page is a map of what fails in ways owners consider dangerous, not a full reliability score.

Counts are raw. Use the year-over-year shape and the component mix, not the absolute numbers. Where a component maps to parts we stock, the row links to that category filtered to the year you are viewing. Air bag and seat belt complaints link to the recall checker instead, because those repairs are almost always covered.
