    I was driving in traffic when the vehicle suddenly and unexpectedly accelerated. When i applied the brakes, it did not seem to have any effect. The vehicle kept speeding up out of control. The consumer stated she listed the incorrect failure mileage at the time of the accident. Updated 06/29/10. *jb

    Rear brakes were sticking and squeaking. Dealer inspected and found rear caliper slides seized causing rear brake pads to get worn to 0 mm. Car only has 12k miles. When asked why, was told, because you don't drive enough miles per year.

    Engine consumes excessive amounts of oil. Car is burning 1 qt of oil per 1,000 miles. Emissions standard do not allow for engine to burn this amount of oil , polluting the air. This amount of oil burning can cause a engine to lock -up with out warning.
