Battery light flashing, power steering cutting out intermittently while driving. Alternator and serpintine belt replaced but problem continues. Electric power steering seems to be draining electrical system.

The turbocharger had to be replaced, new turbo got hot and melted the valve cover. Then the turbocharger caught fire while in motion in a rural neighborhood. All within 6 months.

When you turn wheel left or right it makes a noise and it's very hard to turn. So i think it's the steering: electric power assist system. Recall id # 240625.
