  • 2011 · EngineMileage not given

The cam shaft adjuster bolts were broken and are tearing apart with in the engine and causing the car to stop and not start back again, this is also giving the check engine light, start stop mode deactivated, psm failure errors, there is a recall in china from porsche about the same errors and same year models

  • 2014 · Powertrain and transmission74400 mi

My 2014 panamera 4 started having this issue on 10/09/2019. I placed the car in park and found that the car was still moving like it was in neutral. I have to set the emergency brake on the car before leaving it or it might roll down the street and into traffic. It sounds like it has to be tied to the recall 19v-446.

  • 2012 · EngineMileage not given

I was driving my car and as I was coming to a stop the engine sputtered then started to stall. The check engine light then came on.

How to read this page

Every figure comes from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's public complaint database, which holds every safety-related defect complaint filed by owners since 1995. We refresh it monthly and count each complaint once per component it names. Data through September 6, 2026.

NHTSA only accepts safety-related complaints. Rattles, paint, infotainment bugs and other annoyances are under-reported here, so this page is a map of what fails in ways owners consider dangerous, not a full reliability score.

Counts are raw. Use the year-over-year shape and the component mix, not the absolute numbers. Where a component maps to parts we stock, the row links to that category filtered to the year you are viewing. Air bag and seat belt complaints link to the recall checker instead, because those repairs are almost always covered.
