Wife and kids were coming home and brakes went to the floor and ABS lights came on. Took the car to a mechanic and mechanic stated to contact toyota for open recall and service campaign. Toyota is no help whatsoever

Started car and had immediate brake failure!, ABS system failure. Brake system warning lights and beeping from dashboard. Car not drive-able.

I was driving on the interstate (395n into dc) and the car's brakes failed. The car immediately displayed vehicle control system (vcs) failure and a number of other warnings. I was forced to swerve out of traffic and to utilize the emergency brake to stop the car.
