Common Brake Issues Addressed

• Rear brake noise during stop-and-go driving
• Uneven or inconsistent brake pedal response
• Brake dust concerns on BMW street-driven vehicles
• Worn rear pads on BMW 535i, 550i, 640i, 650i, M5, and M6 models
• Need for a ceramic rear pad replacement with OE-style fitment

Installation Notes and Tips

Verify rear axle fitment by year, model, and brake package before ordering. Some applications note standard brake use or exclusion of M Carbon Ceramic Brakes, so confirm the brake system on the vehicle before installation. For best results, inspect rotors, caliper hardware, and brake fluid condition during service, and follow the vehicle manufacturer’s bedding procedure after installation. Akebono EUR1469 is a direct-fit rear brake pad option for the listed BMW applications.
