Detailed Description

AP Exhaust 8519 is a replacement exhaust system hanger used to secure and support the exhaust assembly on confirmed Nissan fitments. This part number 8519 covers multiple model years and configurations, including 1998-2004 Nissan Frontier, 2001-2004 Nissan Xterra, 1995-1997 Nissan Pickup, 1990-1995 Nissan Pathfinder, 1987-1994 Nissan D21, and earlier Nissan 720 and 200SX applications. For buyers searching by vehicle, this hanger is a direct-fit option for Nissan Frontier exhaust hanger replacement, Nissan Xterra exhaust support repair, and Nissan D21 exhaust mounting service.

This part cross-references Monroe Shocks & Struts (e.g., 172286, 182286) for the same application.

What It Helps Address

  • Broken or deteriorated exhaust hanger support
  • Exhaust movement that can lead to rattles or vibration
  • Misalignment at the exhaust mounting point
  • Wear-related exhaust sag on older Nissan trucks and SUVs
  • Replacement needs during exhaust repair or restoration work

Installation Notes and Tips

Verify the vehicle year, model, emissions configuration, bed length, and engine details against the fitment list before ordering. Confirm the hanger location on the exhaust system and inspect nearby mounts, brackets, and rubber isolators for wear before installation. For best results, compare the original hanger shape and mounting points to AP Exhaust 8519 before final assembly.
