Detailed Description

PT106CC is a drive shaft center support bearing used in driveline systems that rely on a center support to stabilize the shaft between mounting points. The fitment spans many BMW 3 Series, 5 Series, 6 Series, 7 Series, X models, Z models, and Mercedes-Benz C-Class, E-Class, S-Class, SL, and related platforms, along with several crossover and SUV applications. If you are servicing a BMW 530i, BMW X5, or Mercedes-Benz E350 driveline, PT106CC is listed for the corresponding applications shown below.

This part cross-references Monroe Shocks & Struts (e.g., 172286, 182286) for the same application.

What It Is Used For

• Corrects driveline vibration caused by a worn center support bearing
• Addresses noise from a failing driveshaft support
• Restores shaft support when the original bearing is loose or damaged
• Helps reduce driveline movement under load
• Supports service replacement on listed BMW and Mercedes-Benz applications

Installation Notes and Tips

Verify the vehicle year, make, model, and any fitment notes before ordering. Some applications in the catalog list specific transmission or axle codes, such as GETRAG 760 or GETRAG 790, and one Mercedes-Benz C240 listing notes bearing I.D. 1.1811 inches. Match those details to the vehicle exactly, and confirm the driveshaft support configuration before installation.

Quality Assurance

Fitment is cataloged for direct application matching across the listed vehicles. Use the part number PT106CC to confirm the correct driveline bearing before service.
