Product Line Details

The Bendix Premium Copper Free line covers brake pads and shoes developed around North American copper-free requirements. This Part Number 559 rear drum brake shoe follows that product-line approach with a focus on OE-style geometry, material consistency, and application-specific fitment for Volkswagen rear brake systems.

Part Number 559 is a practical choice for rear drum brake service on Volkswagen vehicles that require a 7.09" x 1.22" brake shoe setup or related rear drum configurations listed below. It is also a fitment match for 2017-2021 Volkswagen Golf rear applications, including 2018-2019 Golf rear with added spring hole and 2020-2021 Golf rear.
