Detailed Description

This part number is built for rear drum brake maintenance where a complete service kit is preferred for faster identification and installation. SK638 is also referenced as Bendix Brake Shoe Kit SK638 for cataloging and ordering.

What It Helps Address

• Rear brake shoe wear that affects stopping performance
• Brake noise caused by worn drum brake components
• Uneven rear braking from aging wheel cylinders or hardware
• Longer service time when multiple rear brake parts must be sourced separately
• Parts lookup complexity for Nissan Sentra, 200SX, and NX rear drum brake jobs

Installation Notes

Verify rear drum brake dimensions before installation, especially on 1995-1999 Nissan Sentra models with 7.09" x 1.23" brakes. Confirm vehicle year, model, and rear brake configuration against the fitment listing before ordering. SK638 is a rear application only and should be matched to the exact drum brake setup shown in the vehicle data.
