Common Repair Uses

• Burned or melted blower resistor connector
• Intermittent HVAC fan operation
• Loose or corroded electrical terminals at the resistor
• Loss of blower speed control on GM HVAC systems
• Heat-related connector damage near the resistor pack

Installation Notes and Tips

Inspect the blower motor resistor and surrounding wiring before installation, since excess heat often damages both the connector and the terminals. Match the 7-terminal layout and verify the connector style against the original part number S916HT before splicing into the harness. On vehicles such as Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500, confirm the HVAC connector location and routing before final assembly.
