Product Details

Brembo’s Premium NAO Ceramic OE Equivalent Pad line is aimed at North American driving conditions, where quiet braking, low dust output, and predictable response matter in daily use. The P28042N uses a ceramic-based friction formulation with a premium shim to help control vibration and noise, while the chamfered pad edges support smoother contact with the rotor. This front brake pad set is a direct-fit style replacement for several Honda Civic and Accord front brake applications, plus Acura CL and select Honda CR-V coverage.

This part cross-references Akebono ProACT ACT465 and Bosch BC1578 for the same application. The Brembo P28042N also aligns with common OE-style replacement searches for Honda Civic front brake pads and Honda Accord front disc brake pads.

What It Helps Address

• Squealing or brake noise during light and moderate stops
• Excessive brake dust on wheels
• Uneven or harsh brake pedal feel
• Worn front pads on Honda Civic, Honda Accord, or Acura CL applications
• Service intervals that call for an OE-equivalent ceramic replacement

Installation Notes and Tips

Verify rotor condition, caliper hardware, and pad fitment before installation. This pad set is listed for front position applications and includes an acoustic wear indicator plus hardware as specified. Confirm brake system details and match the vehicle’s original pad shape, especially on 1994-1997 Honda Accord models with 138mm brakes and 1997 Honda CR-V applications that replace P28075N.

For best results, clean the caliper bracket contact points, inspect the rotors for scoring or thickness variation, and follow the vehicle manufacturer’s bedding procedure after installation. The P28042N is a strong match for shoppers looking for Brembo P28042N front brake pads for Honda Civic and Accord fitment.
