Product Details

Cardone’s Unloaded Caliper line focuses on OE-style replacement parts that restore braking function without changing the original brake system layout. Part number 19-769 is remanufactured to rigorous standards, then pressure-tested to verify hydraulic integrity before it leaves the factory. For Jaguar rear brake service, this caliper supports a clean replacement path for vehicles such as the Jaguar XJS rear left brake caliper, Jaguar XJ6 rear left brake caliper, Jaguar XJ12 rear left brake caliper, and Jaguar Vanden Plas rear left brake caliper applications. This part cross-references Jaguar AAU3379 for the same application.

Common Brake Issues It Can Address

• Dragging or sticking rear brake caliper on the left side
• Brake fluid seepage at the caliper body or bleeder area
• Uneven rear braking or pull during braking
• Corrosion-related piston or seal wear
• Low or inconsistent brake pedal response caused by caliper hydraulic problems

Installation Notes and Tips

Use the brake fluid specified by the vehicle manufacturer and replace fluid from a sealed container. For floating caliper mounting pins, use silicone grease. Bleed the brake system thoroughly after installation and inspect hoses, pads, and rear brake adjustment before returning the vehicle to service. Confirm rear left fitment for your specific Jaguar year and brake configuration before ordering Cardone 19-769.

Quality Assurance

Each Cardone remanufactured caliper is pressure-tested and built with new premium components, including new high-temperature EPDM rubber seals and corrosion-resistant hardware elements where applicable. The remanufacturing process also reduces raw material and energy use compared with producing a new part.
