Product Details

This Cardone Unloaded Caliper line focuses on remanufactured brake hydraulics built for direct replacement service. The 19-930 uses premium new components during remanufacturing, including high-temperature EPDM rubber seals and durable pistons designed to handle heavy loads. For Volkswagen Vanagon brake repair, this front right caliper supports a clean replacement when the original unit is sticking, leaking, or no longer sealing properly.

This part cross-references Volkswagen 251615108 and 0986471973 for the same application.

Common Brake Issues It Can Address

• Brake fluid leakage at the caliper
• Uneven front braking on a Volkswagen Vanagon
• Dragging or sticking front right brake operation
• Soft or inconsistent pedal feel caused by caliper seal wear
• Corrosion or piston damage in the original caliper

Installation Notes

Compatible With 1980-1985 Volkswagen Vanagon, front right. This unloaded caliper is supplied without pads, so transfer or replace pads as needed during service. The bleeder port size is M7x1.0 and the inlet port size is M10x1.0. Use the brake fluid specified by the vehicle manufacturer and bleed the system thoroughly after installation. Silicone grease is used on floating caliper mounting pins.

Quality Assurance

Each Cardone remanufactured caliper is pressure-tested before release and built with new internal components to support reliable brake performance. The remanufacturing process also reduces energy and raw material use compared with producing a new part.
