Detailed Product Overview

This manual transmission mount helps secure the transmission assembly in the correct position relative to the body and drivetrain. For Audi A3, Audi A3 Quattro, Volkswagen Golf, Volkswagen GTI, Volkswagen Bora, and Volkswagen Jetta models, the mount supports proper alignment and helps maintain consistent driveline positioning during acceleration, shifting, and deceleration. The 2.1 kg construction reflects a substantial mount assembly suited to manual transmission service needs.

Common Issues Addressed

• Excessive drivetrain movement during gear changes
• Transmission misalignment after mount wear
• Vibration transferred into the cabin from a deteriorated mount
• Clunking or shifting feel caused by weakened support points
• Uneven load transfer between the transmission and chassis

Installation Notes and Tips

Verify the vehicle’s transmission type and match the part number before installation. Inspect adjacent mounts and drivetrain brackets for wear, since a worn support point can affect the performance of the replacement mount. Confirm fitment against the vehicle’s year, make, and model details for Audi A3, Audi A3 Quattro, Volkswagen Golf, Volkswagen GTI, Volkswagen Bora, or Volkswagen Jetta applications.
