OE-Style Fuel Delivery
Delphi MF0031 is engineered as a mechanical fuel pump for gasoline systems that need consistent fuel supply at 3 psi. Its hose bead inlet and outlet design, dual outlet configuration, and standard replacement construction make it a practical choice for restoring fuel delivery on 1986-1994 Isuzu Pickup, 1989-1993 Isuzu Amigo, and 1986-1987 Isuzu Trooper applications. This part cross-references Airtex Fuel Pumps 1400 and Carter M70308 for the same application.
Common Problems It Can Address
- Hard starting caused by weak fuel delivery
- Fuel starvation under normal driving conditions
- Low fuel pressure in a mechanical pump system
- Engine hesitation from inconsistent gasoline flow
- Replacement needs on aging Isuzu Pickup, Amigo, or Trooper fuel systems
Installation Notes
Verify inlet and outlet hose size before installation, and confirm the pump mounting location matches the original equipment layout. Use the included gasket during installation, follow the instruction sheet, and inspect fuel lines and connections for wear or leakage before returning the vehicle to service. Confirm the application against your vehicle’s year, make, and model before ordering.
Quality Assurance
Delphi draws on more than a century of OE experience and a broad aftermarket portfolio built from supplier knowledge used by major automakers. The MF0031 reflects that OE-focused background in a standard replacement mechanical fuel pump for select Isuzu applications.
