Detailed Description

Delphi SS21607 is an ABS wheel speed sensor for Jeep Cherokee brake system service, with confirmed fitment for 1991-2001 Jeep Cherokee, front right. Delphi validates its sensors to OE standards and calibrates them for accurate signal output, helping maintain reliable wheel-speed data for the ABS control system. This part cross-references Standard Ignition ALS93 and APEX Automobile Parts Inc ABS204 for the same application.

What It Helps Solve

• ABS warning light caused by a failed wheel speed sensor
• Erratic or missing wheel-speed signal input
• ABS system faults related to front wheel sensor performance
• Brake control issues tied to inaccurate sensor readings
• Intermittent sensor communication from worn wiring or connector damage

Installation Notes and Tips

Confirm the exact position for your Jeep Cherokee before ordering, since Delphi SS21607 is listed for front left and front right positions depending on application. Inspect the connector, harness routing, and mounting points before installation, and compare the original sensor shape, terminal count, and harness length to the replacement part. For 1991-2001 Jeep Cherokee front right service, verify the application details in the vehicle catalog before installation.
