OE-Style Steering Rack Bellows for BMW
Delphi TBR4537 is a rack and pinion bellows built for BMW steering systems that need a precise OE-style dust boot replacement. It helps protect the rack from road debris, moisture, and contamination while maintaining the correct fit for the steering gear assembly.
- Rack and pinion bellows for steering gear protection
- OE-focused dimensional and material analysis for fit consistency
- Tested for temperature extremes below -40 C and above 120 C
- Exposed to 720 hours of salt spray during validation
- Cross-references Beck/Arnley 103-3083 for the same application

What This Part Helps Address
- Cracked or torn steering rack bellows
- Contamination entering the rack and pinion assembly
- Moisture exposure around the steering gear
- Wear from heat, cold, and road-salt conditions
Installation Notes
Verify the steering gear configuration and compare the original bellows dimensions before installation. On BMW 528i, 535i, 550i, 740i, and X6 applications, confirm the part number against the vehicle’s steering rack before service. Delphi TBR4537 is intended for direct replacement use where the OE-style bellows profile matches the original component.
Quality Assurance
Delphi applies OE engineering methods to its steering aftermarket line, including dimensional and material analysis for fit accuracy. This part is validated through temperature cycling and extended salt-spray exposure to support durability in demanding steering environments.
