Delphi XS10389 Spark Plug Wire Set

Delphi XS10389 Spark Plug Wire Set

Delphi XS10389 is a spark plug wire set built for direct-fit service on a wide range of GM trucks, SUVs, and performance models. It combines OE heritage with wire-wound, composite high-temperature construction to support consistent ignition performance in demanding engine bay conditions.

Key Features

• Wire-wound, composite high-temperature construction for heat resistance
• OE-based engineering from Delphi’s 100 years of original equipment experience
• Built for ignition service on Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra, Cadillac Escalade, and related applications
• Includes spark plug wire set and instruction sheet
• Part number XS10389 for catalog and interchange lookup

Detailed Description

This Delphi spark plug wire set is engineered for vehicles that need dependable ignition transfer and stable routing in high-heat environments. Delphi draws on OE knowledge developed with major automakers, and that experience is reflected in the XS10389 design for applications such as 2009-2012 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2009-2012 GMC Sierra 1500, and 2009-2012 Cadillac Escalade. It also covers earlier GM platforms including 1999-2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and 2000-2006 GMC Yukon, making it a strong fitment-based replacement for many GM V8 applications. This part cross-references NGK (e.g., 51033, 51054) for the same application.

What It Helps Address

• Misfires caused by worn or heat-damaged plug wires
• Hard starting related to weak ignition transfer
• Rough idle from deteriorated wire insulation
• Intermittent spark loss under load
• Service replacement for aging GM ignition wire sets

Installation Notes and Tips

Verify vehicle year, make, model, and engine configuration before installation. Route each lead to match the original layout, keep wires separated where required, and confirm secure terminal engagement at the coil and spark plug ends. Use the included instruction sheet during installation and inspect nearby ignition components for wear before reassembly.

Quality Assurance

Delphi builds this part from OE-focused engineering knowledge developed over a century of supplying original equipment to major automakers. The XS10389 is designed to meet the demands of everyday service on compatible Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac, Hummer, and Pontiac applications.
