Product Details

Denso First Time Fit oil filters are developed as OE-style replacement parts for routine engine service. The 150-2015 uses paper filter media in a can-type housing to capture contaminants from engine oil while maintaining proper flow characteristics. The anti-drain back valve helps reduce dry starts, and the bypass relief valve provides an alternate flow path when operating conditions demand it. This part cross-references FRAM PH3387A and Wix 51040 for the same application.

Common fitment includes Fits 2000-2007 Chevrolet Express 1500, N/A; Fits 2002-2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, N/A; Fits 2002-2007 GMC Sierra 1500, N/A; Fits 2005-2009 Chevrolet Equinox, N/A; and Fits 2005-2009 Buick LaCrosse, N/A. Installation Notes and Tips

Verify the vehicle’s engine oil filter specification before installation, since some listed models include notes such as spin-on type, RWD, 4WD, or engine/VIN restrictions. Confirm gasket dimensions and thread size against the removed filter, and replace the filter during a standard oil service with the correct oil level check afterward. For fitment-based searches, this part is commonly selected for Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, and Chevrolet Express 1500 applications.

Denso positions the First Time Fit oil filter line as an OE-focused product range backed by quality assurance. The 150-2015 is engineered to Denso’s stated standards for filtration performance and consistent fitment across the listed applications.
