• Incorrect sealing from a mismatched gasket size
• Service issues on GM trucks, vans, and SUVs that require the correct can-style oil filter

Installation Notes and Fitment Tips

Verify the engine oil filter specification before installation, especially on 2000 Chevrolet K2500 and K3500, 2000 GMC K2500 and K3500, and other listings marked “excludes high capacity.” This filter fits 1980-2002 Chevrolet and GMC applications including C/K trucks, Suburban, Blazer, Jimmy, P30, Express, and Savana models. Confirm the gasket diameter and thread match the vehicle’s original filter before tightening to specification.
