Detailed Description

Depo 331-1161L-AS is a left headlight assembly for Ford Crown Victoria models, covering 1998-2011 applications by year and configuration. The fitment data separates the earlier 1998-2002 Crown Victoria with a replacement lens design from the 2003-2011 composite-style application, making this a practical OE-style lighting replacement for the front driver-side corner of the vehicle. This part number, 331-1161L-AS, is listed for the left side only.

This part cross-references FO2502200 and OEM 4W7Z13008A for the same application.

Common Reasons for Replacement

• Cracked or cloudy left headlamp lens
• Broken housing from front-end impact
• Reduced nighttime visibility from aged lighting components
• Water intrusion or condensation inside the lamp
• Failed original headlight assembly on a Ford Crown Victoria

Installation Notes and Tips

Verify left-side fitment against the vehicle year before installation. This assembly is listed without bulbs or sockets, so transfer or source the required lighting components separately. Confirm connector condition, aim the headlamp after installation, and inspect the mounting points and surrounding trim for damage before final assembly.

Quality Assurance

Depo manufactures replacement lighting components for automotive applications, and this headlight assembly is cataloged with OE reference information to support accurate fitment selection for Ford Crown Victoria service work.
