Detailed Description

Dorman 1571453 is reverse-engineered to match the stock fog light assembly used on specific Chevrolet vehicles, helping maintain the original look and lighting pattern without a dealership replacement. The rectangular housing uses a clear lens and halogen bulb setup, with a 24-watt rating and 12-volt electrical design. This part cross-references GM 22872762 for the same application. For buyers searching for a 2008-2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 left fog light assembly or a 2007-2014 Chevrolet Tahoe left fog light replacement, this unit provides a direct-fit solution when the vehicle matches the listed configuration.

What It Helps Fix

• Cracked, cloudy, or damaged fog light lens
• Dim or non-functioning front fog lamp output
• Water intrusion from a worn housing
• Broken OE-style lamp assembly on the left side
• Exterior lighting mismatch after collision repair

Installation Notes and Tips

Verify the vehicle’s trim, package, and packaging type before ordering, since fitment is specific to the listed Chevrolet Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, and Avalanche applications. Confirm the left-side mounting location, blade terminal style, and bulb type before installation. Because mounting hardware, wiring harness, and switch are not included, reuse or source the required vehicle-specific components as needed. Always test lamp operation after installation and check aim and sealing.

Quality Assurance

Dorman designs this replacement fog light assembly to match original equipment specifications for fit, appearance, and function on the listed applications. The unit is DOT approved and street legal, supporting compliant road use when installed on the correct vehicle.
