Detailed Description

This Dorman seat heater pad is built for specific GM full-size truck and SUV applications, including Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Silverado, Chevrolet Tahoe, and GMC Sierra models. Part number 641-902 is engineered to match the original pad’s design and performance, making it a direct-fit repair for a failed heated seat element in the front left seat bottom. The pad measures 20.65 inches long, 11.69 inches wide, and 0.19 inches thick, with a 12.86-inch power cord length.

The construction uses felt for both the cover and inner padding, and the unit is not washable. It is a specific-fit replacement rather than a universal pad, which helps ensure the correct shape and electrical setup for the listed applications. If you are replacing a failed heated seat element in a 2014-2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 or a 2015-2016 GMC Yukon, this part number 641-902 is matched to the original equipment style used in those vehicles.

What It Is Used For

• Restoring heat output in a seat heater that no longer warms properly.
• Replacing a damaged or open heating element in the seat bottom.
• Addressing uneven or intermittent seat heating performance.
• Repairing comfort loss caused by a failed original heater pad.

Installation Notes and Tips

Verify the seat trim, position, and application before installation. This pad is listed for front left seat bottom use on leather seats only, so confirm the vehicle configuration matches the fitment data before ordering. The wiring harness is included, and the part is not universal, so proper routing and connector alignment matter during installation.
