Detailed Description

Dorman 77072 is an exterior door handle replacement made for specific Chevrolet C1500, K1500, Tahoe, GMC Yukon, and Cadillac Escalade applications, along with additional C/K-series trucks and Suburban models. It is designed around the original handle shape and mounting style, helping maintain factory-style appearance on the front left door. The smooth black finish and plastic construction make it a straightforward replacement for worn or damaged handles on 1988-2000 Chevrolet and GMC platforms, including 1995-2000 Chevrolet Tahoe and 1995-2000 GMC Yukon applications.

This part cross-references OE numbers 770722 and 15523571 for the same application.

Common Repair Reasons

Broken or cracked exterior driver-side handle
Handle that no longer opens the door properly
Faded, worn, or damaged smooth black finish
Restoring the appearance of a Chevrolet C1500, GMC K1500, or Tahoe front left door
Replacing a missing handle on a Cadillac Escalade or GMC Yukon front left door

Installation Notes

Verify the vehicle year, make, model, and front left position before ordering. This handle includes a key lock hole, but no keys or key pad.
