Installation Notes

Verify the door position before ordering, since this part is listed for front left and rear left applications only. Compare the original handle shape, attachment points, and lockable design to confirm match before installation. Because mounting hardware is not included, reuse the existing fasteners if they are serviceable or source the correct hardware separately.

Quality Assurance

Dorman replacement parts are engineered to match original equipment fit and appearance for specific applications. Part number 81680 is built as a direct replacement for the listed Ford and Mercury models and is intended to restore normal interior door operation when the original handle has failed.
