Detailed Description

Dorman 923-001 is a tail light circuit board built to replace the stock board used in select GM rear lamp assemblies. When the original board burns out, tail light operation can be lost even if the bulb and housing are still serviceable. This replacement board addresses that failure point and restores proper tail light function on supported left-side applications. It cross-references TechSmart Q46005 for the same application.

Compatible With 1988-1999 Chevrolet C1500, left; 1992-2000 Chevrolet Tahoe, left; 1992-2000 GMC Yukon, left; and 1999-2000 Cadillac Escalade, left. Additional coverage includes Chevrolet and GMC C/K 1500, 2500, and 3500 truck and Suburban applications listed in the fitment data. Use part number 923-001 to verify the correct replacement before installation.

Installation Notes and Tips

Confirm the connector shape, terminal type, and left-side fitment before installation. This part uses an oval female connector and does not include bulbs or installation hardware. Transfer any required lamp components from the original assembly as needed, and inspect the housing and connector for heat damage before completing the repair.
