Detailed Description

This engine oil filter housing seal kit is intended for vehicles using the Dorman 926-959 die-cast aluminum oil filter housing, not the original plastic housing design. The seals are sized to the listed dimensions and built to restore the sealing interface between the housing and engine components, helping maintain proper oil control during routine service. For buyers searching for a Jeep Grand Cherokee oil filter housing seal kit, Ram 1500 oil filter housing gasket replacement, or Chrysler Pacifica oil filter housing seal kit, 926-959G is the direct service part for the Dorman aluminum housing.

This part cross-references Mopar 68191356AA for the same application.

What It Helps Address

• Oil seepage at the filter housing seal area
• Worn or flattened housing seals during maintenance
• Loss of sealing integrity after housing service
• Leak concerns on Dorman 926-959 aluminum oil filter housing setups
• Need for a direct replacement seal set for supported vehicles

Installation Notes and Tips

Verify that the vehicle is equipped with the Dorman 926-959 aluminum oil filter housing before ordering or installing this kit. It is not for servicing the original plastic oil filter housing. Clean the sealing surfaces thoroughly before installation and inspect the housing for wear, damage, or contamination that could affect sealing performance. Confirm fitment for your exact year, make, and model, including Chrysler Grand Caravan, Dodge Durango, Jeep Wrangler, Ram 1500, and Ram ProMaster applications listed for this part.

Quality Assurance

Dorman engineered this seal kit to match the factory seals used with its patented die-cast aluminum filter housing. The materials and dimensions are specified to support proper fit and long-term service of the Dorman OE FIX housing system.
