What It Helps Fix

  • Parking brake that will not hold the vehicle securely
  • Sticking or binding rear parking brake cable movement
  • Frayed, corroded, or damaged original cable
  • Uneven parking brake engagement at the rear right wheel
  • Loss of proper cable tension in the parking brake system

Installation Notes and Tips

Verify rear right or rear right inner position before installation, since fitment varies by model year and trim. This cable does not include mounting hardware, so reuse or source the required hardware as needed. Confirm cable length and routing against the original part on your Ford Crown Victoria, Mercury Grand Marquis, Lincoln Town Car, or Mercury Marauder before final assembly.
