Elring 298.770 is an engine crankshaft seal built for front-end sealing applications where precise shaft control and oil retention matter. It uses PTFE and ACM materials to support reliable sealing performance across a wide range of Chevrolet, GMC, Jeep, and Ram applications.
This crankshaft seal includes a mounting sleeve and uses an AW radial shaft seal design with a right-hand twist swirl type. The seal dimensions are 56.0 mm inside diameter, 70.25 mm outside diameter, and 8.2 mm thickness.
