Facet 10.8403 Oxygen Sensor - Front

Facet 10.8403 Oxygen Sensor for Kia and Hyundai

Facet 10.8403 is a wideband planar oxygen sensor built for regulating fuel control in select Hyundai and Kia applications. With a 5-wire design, 16.00-inch wire length, and front-position fitment, it supports accurate exhaust feedback for vehicles that rely on precise air-fuel monitoring.

Compatible With 2020 Kia Forte front and 2020 Kia Forte5 front, plus 2014-2018 Kia Forte5 front and 2014-2017 Kia Forte Koup front. This Facet oxygen sensor is also referenced by OE part numbers used on Hyundai and Kia applications.

• Facet part number 10.8403
• Wideband planar regulating oxygen sensor
• 5-wire configuration for modern engine management systems
• Front sensor position
• 16.00-inch wire length
• Fastener included in the sensor assembly

Detailed Product Overview

This oxygen sensor is designed for vehicles that use a wideband planar regulating probe to monitor exhaust oxygen content and help the engine control module maintain the correct fuel mixture. The 5-wire layout supports the signal and heater circuit requirements common in late-model Hyundai and Kia emissions systems. If you are replacing a worn sensor on a Kia Forte, Kia Forte5, or Kia Forte Koup, Facet 10.8403 matches the listed front applications and wire length requirements.

This part cross-references Hyundai 392102B420 and Kia 392102B280 for the same application.

Common Problems This Sensor Can Address

• Check engine light related to oxygen sensor performance
• Rough idle caused by inaccurate exhaust feedback
• Fuel trim issues from a slow or failing front sensor
• Reduced emissions control performance
• Poor drivability from incorrect air-fuel ratio readings

Installation Notes and Tips

Verify front sensor placement before installation and confirm the connector, wire length, and thread engagement match the original unit. Because this is a wideband planar sensor, handle the sensing element carefully and avoid contamination from grease, sealants, or exhaust residue. Always compare the OE reference number and vehicle application before replacement on 2020 Kia Forte, 2020 Kia Forte5, or earlier Forte5 and Forte Koup models.

Quality Assurance

Facet manufactures emission control sensors for OE-style replacement applications, with specifications matched to the listed vehicle fitment and sensor type. Confirmed applications include 2020 Kia Forte front, 2020 Kia Forte5 front, 2014-2018 Kia Forte5 front, and 2014-2017 Kia Forte Koup front.
