Detailed Description

Four Seasons 3142NK is a complete A/C compressor kit for select Nissan Pickup and Nissan D21 models. It is configured around a new compressor and matched service components, including the filter drier, expansion valve, oil, and sealing O-rings. The kit is set up for R134a refrigerant systems and uses a TXV expansion device, making it a direct-service solution for vehicles that need a full HVAC refresh rather than a single-part replacement.

Fitment includes 1998-2010 Nissan Pickup, 1994-1997 Nissan Pickup with NVR140S compressor, and 1986-1993 Nissan D21 with NVR140S compressor. This part cross-references 520610 and MK1132 for the same application.

Common Problems This Kit Addresses

• Weak or inconsistent cabin cooling
• Compressor noise or compressor failure
• Restricted refrigerant flow through the expansion valve
• Moisture contamination in the A/C system
• Leaking seals or degraded O-rings in the HVAC circuit

Installation Notes and Tips

• Verify vehicle year, engine setup, and compressor application before installation.
• Replace the receiver drier/filter drier when servicing the compressor to help protect the system.
• Inspect lines, fittings, and sealing surfaces before charging the system.
• Evacuate and recharge the system with the correct R134a service procedure after installation.
• Confirm the existing compressor style matches the listed Nissan Pickup or Nissan D21 notes.
