Detailed Description

Four Seasons 55258 is an OE-style A/C refrigerant suction hose assembly made for select Honda Civic and Honda Civic del Sol vehicles. As a low-pressure suction line, it carries refrigerant vapor through the HVAC system and uses the specified aluminum/rubber construction to match the original routing and connection style. This part cross-references UAC HA1016C for the same application.

Use this hose assembly when servicing an R12 air conditioning system that requires the correct P-nut and female O-ring end configuration. The Four Seasons 55258 part number is also referenced in aftermarket interchange listings for related Honda HVAC repairs.

What It Helps Repair

• Refrigerant leaks at the suction hose connection points
• Cracked or deteriorated HVAC hose material
• Loss of A/C performance from a damaged low-pressure line
• Improper sealing at the O-ring or fitting interface
• Failed original hose assembly on older Honda A/C systems

Installation Notes and Tips

Verify the vehicle uses an R12 system and confirm the hose end style before installation. Replace sealing components as needed, inspect mating surfaces for wear, and check the routing so the hose sits without kinks or tension. This part is listed without a service port, switch port, bracket, or muffler.

Fits 1992-1993 Honda Civic and 1993 Honda Civic del Sol, matching the original suction line application for those vehicles.
