Product Details

Four Seasons 55780 is a suction line hose assembly used in the low-pressure side of the air conditioning system. It is configured for R134-A refrigerant and uses a P-nut fitting on one end with a captured O-ring connection on the other, matching the OE-style layout for the listed Kia Spectra applications. The Four Seasons Hose Assembly line focuses on replacement HVAC hose and pipe components built for service-fit accuracy, and this part follows that approach with the service port and sealing components already specified for the application.

This part cross-references 1K2N561460 and 11155780 for the same application. Use Four Seasons 55780 when replacing a worn, leaking, or damaged suction hose on a 2000 Kia Spectra or a 2001 Kia Spectra built to 5/01.

Common Problems This Part Addresses

• Refrigerant loss from a cracked or deteriorated suction hose
• Oil residue or dye at hose connections and O-ring seals
• Weak A/C performance caused by a leaking low-side line
• Corrosion or damage at the service port or hose ends
• Fitment issues when replacing an OE-style suction line on Kia Spectra models

Installation Notes

Verify the vehicle’s refrigerant type, service port style, and hose routing before installation. Replace the sealing surfaces as required, confirm the captured O-ring connection seats correctly, and evacuate and recharge the system according to factory service procedures after the repair. This part is for the low side suction line and does not include a switch port, bracket, or muffler.

Quality Assurance

Four Seasons supplies OE replacement HVAC components, and this hose assembly is built to match the listed application details for fit and function on the specified Kia Spectra models.
